Matching Parameter Results

Go to the Match Control tab next. Note that the match parameter fields have updated with the final values from the analysis. The matching algorithm first attempted to match by adjusting resistance pressure. This parameter was selected because it had the best chance of matching both muzzle velocity and action time. Since moving this to the limit wasn't enough to match velocity, it then adjusted the Breech Pressure Factor to accomplish the match.

At this point you might want to adjust limits and/or lock parameters and rerun. Solutions are not unique so different starting points will end up with different results. It's common at this point to want to tighten a limit on a parameter. Note that you may need to reset the nominal value when you do this becasue the nominal must be between the minimum and maximum limits. Continue to repeat the analysis with different inputs on the match control parameters until you are satisfied with the result.
